Fair and Sustainable Kenya is facing a challenge with the drying of black soldie larvae for furher processing. Drying of the larvae under direct sunlight produces unattractive dry larvae with a short shelf life. This is why a group of students from Mechanical Engineering tried to come up with a new BSF drying solution, including a working prototype.
