AMIU-Physiotherapy clinic is under the Rehabilitation Department which a Department at Amref International University (AMIU). The clinic has been in existence since 2023 January. It is a clinic that promote remote physiotherapy service delivery using digital platform.
Assignment
Last semester 5 students from the bachelor Creative Media & Game Technologies designed a mobile/digital application (app) for Amref University. The AMIU-TJC physiotherapy clinic mobile/digital application (app) is to ensure an easy access of service remotely and continuation of service provision even after discharge from hospital. This would be an application that links patients and registered physiotherapist throughout the country with aim of improving health care (physiotherapy services) accessibility in urban and rural areas.
One of the students, Joanna, liked the assignment so much that she decided to continue working on it for her bachelor thesis. Therefore, this semester she will continue working on the app.
